Dietram A. Scheufele is Professor of Life Sciences Communication in the College of Agricultural & Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin, and serves on the steering committee of the Robert F. and Jean E. Holtz Center for Science and Technology Studies.

Scheufele is also co-leader of the Public Opinion and Values Research Team of the Center for Nanotechnology in Society at Arizona State University (CNS-ASU).
